The Space

An Evening Without Rush

778 W Bartlett Rd · Bartlett, Illinois

Intimate

A space designed for conversation

Not a dining hall. Not a crowd. Tables close enough to feel warm, far enough that your evening is your own.

Open Flame

The oven at the center of the room

A 800°F Italian mosaic oven, burning all night. Watch every pizza made. Ninety seconds from dough to table.

Unhurried

Your table is yours

No covers to flip. No rushed check. Stay for dessert. Order another bottle. Linger.

Watch Every Pizza Made

Our oven is not a kitchen. It is the centerpiece of the dining room. Imported from Italy, hand-built in mosaic, and burning at 800°F every night we are open.

From most seats in the house, you can see the flame. You can watch the pizzaiolo stretch dough, top a Margherita, slide it onto the stone, and pull it out ninety seconds later — with the leopard-spotted char that only a true Neapolitan oven produces.

It is the theater of the room. Something to notice between sips of wine. A reason to sit next to the bar if you can. The pizza is the reason you came. Watching it being made is the reason you stay.

at the Bar

Walk In. Sit at the Bar.

The bar counter runs along the edge of the open kitchen, facing the oven. Come alone. Come in a pair. No reservation required.

Order a Negroni, a glass of Nero d'Avola, a Margherita straight from the flame. Watch the chefs move. Talk to the pizzaiolo. This is how a Neapolitan meal is supposed to feel — unceremonious, close to the fire, and in no hurry.

Date nights end at the bar. Weeknights start there.

What Guests Are Saying

Loved the atmosphere. Classy, not hip. Mature, not stuffy. No TVs to distract and a crowd that was there for dinner and socialization without the chaos of a restaurant trying to be too trendy. Wait staff and service was well coordinated. Wood-fired pizza was yum as well.

While the place is small, the atmosphere makes it feel larger! The pizza is DELICIOUS and the cocktails are fresh! Chayce the bartender is awesome and the entire staff is top notch! We will absolutely be returning!!!!

Love this place. Great vibe. Bruschetta is outstanding. Can't wait to come back and try the gnocchi.
